Abyss
Earthquaker Devices The Depths Clone - June 2020
This is a build of the Pedal PCB Abyss Univibe. The circuit is a clone of Earthquaker Devices' The Depths. Univibe is a form of modulation, similar to a chorus effect, but it is unique in that it is optically controlled. Inside of the pedal enclosure there is a pulsing LED surrounded by four light-dependent resistors (LDRs), and these LDRs control the modulation effect. The result is a throbbing, underwater-like effect that is shown in this demo.
